Espera, espera ¿qué carajos es esto?, en mi vida había visto algo parecido. Indago un poco y resulta que es un "Thinclient HP": un miniordenador que se concibió como terminal tonto que corria un Windows CE o Windows XP Embedded y conectarse a un servidor de terminales (Terminal Server o Citrix, por ejemplo) para ejecutar un sistema operativo completo. Mas o menos un sistema LTSP pero sobre software de Microsoft y similares.
El que tenía en mi poder ni siquiera arrancaba ningún sistema operativo. Podía entrar en la bios pero poco mas, asi que probé a pincharle un pendrive con un SystemRescueCD y ahora si arrancó un Linux funcional.

Bueno, está claro que esto no es la repanocha pero algo podemos intentar hacer. Quién me lo trajo me conoce y sabe mi obsesión por reutilizar hardware obsoleto en cosas interesantes e insospechadas. Detesto la obsolescencia programada y todo lo que vaya en su menoscabo es una pequeña victoria para mí. Ya que no puedo ganar la guerra que al menos le dé de vez en cuando una pedrada al enemigo.Lo primero: instalar un Linux ligero en ese "peazo" disco duro de 512Mb.
